The hulk's real name is Bruce Banner and he is one of the greatest scientists ever. Bruce was testing out a new weapon he just created, know as the Gamma bomb. When the bomb exploded Bruce was accidentally caught in the explosion which caused radiation to shoot through his body. Nothing happened to him until he started to notice that when he becomes upset or mad he immediately turns into this angry green giant which destroys everything in its path. Only when he has calmed down will he turn into Bruce again. The Hulk is also apart of the Avengers team and is usually a mastermind behind the plans of attack alongside Iron man.
